About
I’m Bob, or Bohouš in Czech. I live and work near Nové Město nad Metují, a small town in northeast Czechia. I started designing for clients at 18 and have been independent for over six years.
Most of my work is with startups in fintech, SaaS and sport. I work with BigHub, an enterprise AI agency, every week on their brand, website and product. I look after wflow’s brand across every channel, and I design identity and campaigns for Vexl by SatoshiLabs.
I co-own Banana Sport, a sports booking app. We took it from an MVP to a live product, and within a year it booked 20,000 trainings, which CzechCrunch wrote about (in Czech).
I also build my own products. Appetite UI is a mobile design system for Figma with more than 2,000 users. On 17 November 2026 it also launches as code for React Native, SwiftUI, Flutter and Jetpack Compose. Wearly Labs is an AI style analysis I designed and launched in 2026. Meadowstack is my studio for custom business software.
How I work
- The whole problem. I work on strategy, brand, interface and code myself, so you explain the problem once, to the person solving it.
- Built as systems. Brands, sites and apps you can grow, so the tenth page is as good as the first.
- Straight answers. If I think the direction is wrong, I’ll say so and explain why before we spend time on it.
